Remember: money is nothing but a medium of exchange. It’s a commodity whose utility is in granting you purchasing power. If the amount of stuff remains finite in the world, more money will equate to less purchasing power (over that stuff). And whoever controls the supply of purchasing power will do it for their own benefit.
However, also remember that the amount of stuff is not finite in the world. In fact, technology has a commoditization effect. It makes more stuff available and hence has a deflationary effect.
The consequence of more stuff available in the world and more money available in the world is that anything that’s rare and valuable becomes astronomically more expensive.

Napkin: A serendipity engine for your brain.
Napkin is a tool that I've been using daily for the past couple of months, and I absolutely love it.
What it is
Napkin is a tool that helps you resurface thoughts and ideas that you've saved. Besides this, it also uses AI to help you find connections between similar thoughts you saved at different points in time.
How I use it
I've connected Napkin to my Readwise account. Whenever I save highlights from the web or my Kindle, they sync to Readwise, and then the Readwise app spits them out to Napkin. Besides this, I also occasionally save snippets of thought directly to Napkin.
Then, when I need inspiration, or when I'm in the mood to read some of the best insights I've saved, I open Napkin and browse through them, tag them, and make connections with other thoughts.
This sounds quite simple, but you have to use Napkin for about a week to truly experience how magical it can be. Initially, I was not sure where it would fit into my information consumption system, but now I can't imagine life without it.
It's my serendipity engine. I plant the seeds, and it does the work.
I highly recommend trying them out. For now, they offer a 30-day free trial, so you can test it for free before committing.
Let me know what you think!
